We the People are ready to take a stand and get our country back! What on earth has happened to America? Our founding fathers would be ashamed at the disgraces our Government has imposed upon us. It's time to go back and read the OLD history books that do not sensor why this country began... We ARE a Christian nation who fought long and hard to keep government from controlling and diminishing the significance of our right to prosper. We don't want socialism, liberalism, etc... we want our freedom back, we want our country back!
BOSTON TEA PARTY REVIVED: Conservative grassroots organizations and free market activists will come together on April 15th, 2009 to protest out-of-control government spending. Rallies to take place in 804+ American cities, 16 in Minnesota today. My parents will be at the Capital today [5-8pm], and I can't wait to hear how it went! Update at end of this post!

UPDATE:
I guess the news coverage was very poor, and very inaccurate. A significant 8-10,000 people gathered at the MN capital building, 400 at the St. Cloud, MN Library, and thousands more at over 800 locations. I got to listen in to a speaker over my mom's cell phone, and it sounded wonderful that this is a NEW MOVEMENT of grassroots parties, conservatives and values voters. We really need some people to stand up and represent us - because we are not a minority!
I'm headed to the capital today for the tax cut rally! WOOHOOOO! You just reminded me that I need to bring my camera.
ReplyDeleteButch works at Molin Concrete products. He is lucky that HE will be working steadily. Things are very iffy and they are not hiring. I'll pray for your hubby though.
